About
Dr Blake Fidock is a Brisbane-based orthopaedic surgeon with a subspeciality focus in robotic and revision hip and knee joint replacement surgeries. Other areas of interest include general orthopaedics, orthopaedic trauma, and foot and ankle surgery.
As a husband and father to two young children, Dr Fidock decided to establish Ortho ARC, his own orthopaedic practice in Southeast Queensland, so he and his family could enjoy the vibrant lifestyle the Sunshine State has to offer, and be close to extended family.
When not operating, Dr Fidock enjoys teaching junior colleagues and registrars, and has held clinical associate lecturer positions with the University of New South Wales, the University of Newcastle, and most recently, the University of Adelaide. In July 2024, Dr Fidock appeared on the Aussie Med Ed Podcast to discuss the orthopaedic training pathway in Australia for medical students and junior doctors.
